Please post or spread the word if you know of any residents of Bruce County wanting to use our employment services or would be interested in our upcoming Youth Job Connection program taking place in Walkerton during the month of November.
VPI Working Solutions – Youth Job Connection Program
Based on our collective goal to support youth in the community, I wanted to inform you that we’re hosting a series of Drop-in sessions for Employment Ontario’s Youth Job Connection (YJC) program. The program serves youth who are unemployed and not enrolled in school (15-29 years old) and includes:
- Free 1-on-1 career counselling
- 60 hours paid pre-employment workshops ($11.40/hour)
- Full-time and part-time jobs available across Bruce County
- Support before, during and after securing a job

YJC Assessment Sessions
Free 1-on-1 career counselling to determine if you’re eligible for the Youth Job Connection program which offers full-time and part-time jobs for youth, 15-29 years old. Appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m or walk-in inquiries.
