SUMMARY:Walk the Block for Parkinson's
DESCRIPTION:Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario is a not for profit organization with the mission of enhancing the lives of anyone touched by Parkinson's Disease. Due to Covid-19\, we've had to modify our annual fundraiser walk\, Walk-it for Parkinson's. This event has been a huge success in past years\, and together\, individuals\, teams and corporate sponsors raised $467\,000 at Walk-It in 2019. This year\, we have turned this event into Walk the Block for Parkinson's\, which allows us to walk within the communities we serve while practicing social distancing. Participants will fundraise and connect virtually as they walk safely in their own communities\, homes\, or backyards on September 12th and 13th\, 2020. Although we will be walking separately\, we'll all be together in heart!
