50 harpists are gathering at the Unifor Family Education Centre in Port Elgin to attend the Huron Harp Festival from all across North America to learn, listen, appreciate and celebrate the harp. Huron Harp Fest is excited to present two evenings full of harp music at the Unifor Family Education Centre (115 Shipley Avenue) in Port Elgin to the general public! On Friday, October 17 at 7:30pm, we have Sharlene Wallace, a harpist that listeners describe as Celtic, Classical, South American or contemporary, and Robin Grenon & Gisele Guibord, a paraguayan harp duo rooted in Latin music, taking the stage. Then, on Saturday, October 18 at 7:30pm, we have Hannah Flowers, a singer and harpist trained in traditional Irish music and song, and Stephanie Claussen, a harpist with repertoire spanning the Celtic and classical worlds. To learn more about each performer, check out the presenter page on our website: https://huronharpfest.com/presenters/ Tickets are $25 at the door. Payment is CASH ONLY.
