Mill Tours - In Paisley. These tours are admission free that require no pre-booking. The tours are a unique opportunity to be guided through a significant heritage building in the area. It has been documented as the largest remaining building of its type in Canada. The tour includes the turbine room in the basement, all 5 floors of the grist mill, the silo storage building and the dam. This 1885 (1st built in 1854) grist mill tour offers a real look into our past. Nature Millworks will provide tours of most of the buildings with an explanation of how flour was produced in the building from 1854 until its closing in 1972. Doors are open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. For more information go to www.naturesmillworks.com.
