    MEET OUR BRAVE, BOLD, PANELISTS...
Jami Smith A lifelong Saugeen Shores resident currently living in Port Elgin with her husband and two sons, Jami Smith has long been an active volunteer in our community.  In 2018 Jami decided to take her community activism a step further and was elected as Councilor of the Port Elgin Ward for the Municipality of Saugeen Shores. Jami lists her desire to increase female voices at the table as one of her primary reasons for running in the election.  Statistically speaking, women make up 52% of the Canadian population, but make up only 26% of the countries municipally elected representatives.  She believes women offer a different and valuable perspective in the decision making process. Despite the challenges of being a mom to two young kids, maintaining a full time career, her role as an elected official, and continuing with her active volunteerism, Jami is here to speak about balance, and more importantly about the question she is asked constantly 'how do you do it all'?

Tracy Murray is the Executive Director for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital foundation.  A self-proclaimed quirky girly girl, mother of two, passionate fundraiser, warrior in a dress and lover of all things pink.  Working within the healthcare industry for the last 20 years, has taught her that life is too short not to find happiness in the daily grind. She has found, you need to immerse yourself in a life that makes your soul genuinely smile.  Years ago she found herself working in the middle of a male dominated field.  With that comes a few workplace challenges, which is what lead her to find her voice and the drive to share it.  Over the last four years life has taken her on a journey of self-discovery.  This has brought her to the role she's in today.  Tracy has a contagious upbeat spirit and creative outlook that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, and likely laughing so hard you'll cry.

Cheryl Ann Goetz  is a local business owner of Ewyn Studios of Port Elgin and has been in the nutrition industry for over 24 years.  Her biggest challenge to date has been raising her 4 amazing children as a single mother. Family is her top priority and may have been what prompted her to get married and start a family early in life.  Unfortunately, Cheryl was faced with a reality that sent her to the Women's Shelter, and she found that her idea of marriage was not what she thought.  Throughout it all, Cheryl's passion has always been to help people.  She has opened 7 stores so far over her lifetime and has since been able to encourage others to open their own franchises.  These young ladies came from backgrounds with struggle of their own and never believed they could be where they are today. Cheryl's passion is helping others to achieve whatever they thought wasn't possible.

    INTRODUCING OUR BRAVE, BOLD, MC....
Cheryl Pauchuk  has always been rooted in sales and marketing. The thrill of connecting people with product through enticing messages, creating consumer experiences and the sharing of information in ways that enlighten and engage has always driven her to explore human behaviour and what drives them. The more research, learning and understanding Cheryl gained on 'being human' lead her on a path to helping people overcome themselves. Realizing that it's the stories we tell ourselves that hold us back from living out our fullest potential. She works with her clients on both a mental and energetic platform to explore false and limiting beliefs, their stresses and traumas to help them move beyond their stories and what keeps them stuck. If that's not enough to keep her busy, she also volunteers with Huron Shores Hospice with their Death & Dying education programs as well as with Prance. She's also an active member of the Chamb-ettes.
