Canada Day Celebrations and Fireworks

Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to the "Celebrate Canada!" fireworks and festivities by the Big Flag in Southampton on July 1st. The thrilling fireworks show will begin at dusk, but there will be lots to explore before that! Grab a bite to eat at the Big Flag with the Rotary BBQ starting at 4pm. Thank you to the Rotarians who will also be patrolling as the "Bucket Brigade". They will be collecting donations that help make the fireworks a free event for families and visitors of Saugeen Shores. Spectators are encouraged to bike to the Big Flag and take advantage of the Bike  Val-Eh (starting at 5pm). This service is being provided by the Town of Saugeen Shores, Southampton BIA and Martin's Bicycle Shop. The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre will have a table and information set up for those wanting more information on our heritage. Spectators will also enjoy live musical performances from the Southampton Concert Band and Chantry Singers starting at 7:30pm.
