Blue Mill Cottages

Dear cottage guests, family and friends:

The summer of 2017 was a historic year for the Blue Mill Cottages as we welcomed families for the first time to our 3 new cottages (the Harbour, Saugeen and Huron). Some of you are aware that our journey as Port Elgin cottage owners began in 1993 when we purchased 4 blue cottages that were known as the Elgin, Harbour, Saugeen and Huron cottages. In 2004, we acquired the Mill House along with 2 green cottages (Georgian and Hampton). In 2005, we built the 3-bedroom Bruce cottage, which has become one of our most popular units. The 4 original blue cottages were built in the early 1900’s and had been through many modifications over the years. In order to provide the best possible accommodations for our guests, we moved forward with plans to replace the Elgin, Harbour, Saugeen and Huron with three new and more spacious cottages, each with a covered porch (a 3 bedroom cottage and two 2-bedroom cottages). The Harbour, Saugeen, Huron, Bruce Georgian and Hampton Cottages have air conditioning at no additional fee. Please contact the Blue Mill Cottages for more information. Directions to 425 Mill Street, Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada On provincial Highway #21. Port Elgin is easily accessible from the north, south and east via Provincial Highways 21, 9, 4, 10 & 6. Port Elgin is within two hours of Highway 401. Also within a 1/2 hour of Owen Sound.
