      This charming two bedroom, one bathroom, 2nd story, vacation rental is located on a corner lot, in central Southampton. Enter the foyer with beautiful original staircase, stained glass window leads you up to the second floor. The upper foyer features art from local artisans with more in the main floor gallery and is available for sale. Open concept living/dining/kitchen has been updated and features more local art and a large SMART TV. The unit has a gas forced air furnace and central air. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a single over double bunk bed.

      Relax on the front porch or in the “secret garden”. Your BBQ is located on the covered front porch.

      Enjoy a ten-minute walk to downtown for your morning coffee. A leisurely five-minute walk to the beach takes you to the sand and surf for the day. If you are looking for a longer walk or bike ride the rail trail starts two blocks away and connects to the trail system throughout Saugeen Shores.

      Owner lives on the main floor of the home.

      The house was built by David Armstrong, a railway brakeman. The historic Southampton Train Station is located across the road.
