Wills and Estates Clerk

Donnelly Murphy Lawyers is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented full time Wills and Estates Clerk to join their team in Port Elgin, Ontario.
Prior experience with the Wills and Estates practice areas is required, including drafting wills and completion of required court forms/estate accounting. This role requires familiarity with Estateably, proficiency with MS Office suite and working in cloud base systems.
Familiarity in other practice areas, including real estate and corporate law is an asset.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to lawyers in all aspects of Wills and Estates, including document preparation and file management
• Assist with other practice areas as needed
• Draft, review, and organize legal documents and correspondence
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records using cloud-based systems
• Liaise with clients, court staff, and other legal professionals
• Schedule meetings and manage calendars

• Proven experience as a Law Clerk, with a focus on Wills and Estates
• Experience in Corporate and Real Estate is valued
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience working with cloud-based legal management systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
