Sunset Piper

7Michael Smith, the Sunset Piper, returns to Southampton. On Fridays, he pipes down the sun, starting approximately 45 mins before sunset. Catch his performance at the Big Flag in Southampton. This incredible tradition is made possible by the generous sponsorship of Saugeen Shores Chamber members. For 2023, he will perform every Friday from June 30th to September 1st. 

Playing the bagpipes for 20 years, he has participated in this beautiful Southampton tradition for 19 years. He is a Bachelor of Science with honours graduate from the University of Guelph and graduated from his BScN nursing program at York University. He is available for weddings, funerals, parties, etc. If you would like to invite Michael Smith to perform for an event you are hosting contact the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce to get connected!
