Shaping Canada’s clean energy future, the second-annual Clean Energy Frontier Conference will explore the topics you need to know—both here in Bruce, Grey and Huron counties and beyond.

(Located in the Bruce Energy Centre, across from the Bruce Power Visitors’ Centre)

OCTOBER 21 | DAY 1 WORKSHOPS 

Kick off the conference with a new approach to engagement: interactive workshops that bring together voices from across sectors to explore how we grow as a region. 

Attendees will engage directly with NII and partners on topics including: 

• Community resiliency: Fostering deeper collaboration between the clean energy sector and communities in addressing challenges such as housing, mental health, substance use and others.  

• Engaging youth in the region’s workforce future: Exploring how we effectively engage young people in meaningful conversations about the evolving workforce and future job opportunities in our region 

• Economic Development: Explore the potential economic impact of the proposed Bruce C project 
   

OCTOBER 22 | DAY 2 CONFERENCE 

Our conference content brings a full day of dynamic sessions covering the clean energy topics that matter most to our region. Hear from industry leaders, innovators and community voices: 

• Special presentation from Bruce Power President & CEO Eric Chassard 

• How clean energy and agriculture intersect in the region, highlighting opportunities to drive economic and environmental benefits 

• Fostering a nuclear ecosystem in rural Canada: Exploring what it takes to build a thriving rural nuclear ecosystem, highlighting how our region can lead in shaping Canada’s clean energy future.
