Janet King has been providing quality legal services since 2002, primarily with respect to family law, child protection law, and criminal law.
Janet grew up in Port Elgin, where she continues to work and reside. From 2009 through 2015 Janet worked as in-house counsel for local child protective services, initially at Huron-Perth Children's Aid Society and then at Bruce Grey Child and Family Services. Prior to and after her in-house counsel work, Janet has maintained a private law practice servicing Grey and Bruce Counties.
It is Janet's priority to provide her clients with the attention and care that their case requires and to assist them in resolving their legal issues in a fair, equitable and cost efficient manner.
Janet's approach is to try to resolve matters amicably, and when all else fails, go to court. She believes a negotiated settlement most often results in a better outcome for her clients, not only legally but personally.
