Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is an Ontario-based electricity company. We are one of the largest power companies in North America. We produce the power used in most homes, schools, hospitals and businesses in Ontario. We have strong programs in place to operate in a safe, open and environmentally-responsible manner.

2 nuclear power stations
5 thermal power stations
65 hydroelectric power stations on 24 river systems
2 wind power turbines.
OPG also owns two other nuclear power stations which are leased to Bruce Power L.P. at the Western Waste Management facility. OPG continues to manage Ontario's Nuclear Generating Station radioactive waste safely and responsibly. OPG is seeking regulatory approval for construction of a proposed Deep Geologic Repository (DGR) for the long-term management of low and intermediate level radioactive waste at the Bruce nuclear site.
